The new Chesapeake Science Point Elementary Public Charter School (CSP ES), a Chesapeake Lighthouse Foundation, and Anne Arundel County Public Schools elementary school will open in the fall of 2023 with limited sections for grades K-5.  Families interested in attending the new CSP ES in 2023 must apply to the lottery in Fall 2022. The AACPS Board will render a decision on the Chesapeake Science Point Elementary Charter School application at the June 1, 2022 board meeting, at 2:15 pm. If the application is granted, the school will open in SY 2023. Residents of Anne Arundel County will be eligible to attend the school. We need supporters for this school option to be present at the board meeting.
